Here is a gorgeous Mexican Fire Opal bar pin brooch. There is not a makers mark, only stamped Sterling Silver. Works for both men and women. The brooch measures about 2-1/8" wide and has a prong set cabochon that is approx. 4 carats. The stone measures about 14.5mm x 10.3mm x 5mm. The clasp does not have a safety, notice it has an open C type that the shaft of the pin slips under. This opal exhibits wonderful clarity for a cab cut stone.
