Item description

Brand new factory sealed vhs tape is a full screen version and perfect for old school tube TVs as the image will fill your square screen. The uncompressed audio will impress with its greater range over the digital version. Pop-n-go retro video also has no fussy menus to contend with either. John Carpenter's return to mainstream, big-budget filmmaking is better than you've probably heard. Chevy Chase plays a vague stock market analyst who, shortly after making a romantic connection that promises to bring definition and meaning to his life, is rendered invisible by an industrial accident. Chase's inability to see his own body leads to some predictably amusing slapstick sequences as he is known for. Desperately drawn to the newfound object of his affections (Daryl Hannah), he romances her in a way she's never "seen" before. Chase becomes the object of a manhunt, driven by an ambitious government agent (Sam Neil) with similarly invisible criminal tendencies. Industrial Light and Magic conjured up the eye-opening special effects and an uncharacteristic score (for Carpenter) by Shirley Walker but has been given a very creative stereo surround treatment on this tape.
