Desperately drawn to the newfound object of his affections (Daryl Hannah), he romances her in a way she's never "seen" before. Chase becomes the object of a manhunt, driven by an ambitious government agent (Sam Neil) with similarly invisible criminal tendencies. Industrial Light and Magic conjured up the eye-opening special effects and an uncharacteristic score (for Carpenter) by Shirley Walker but has been given a very creative stereo surround treatment on this tape.
