Item description
You are buying 5 May Apple roots. May Apple is a rhizomatous, native wildflower that occurs in both moist and dry woodland areas. From a single stem, each plant grows 12-18" tall and features 1 or 2, deeply-divided, umbrella-like, pale green leaves. From the leaf axil on two leafed plants a single waxy 6-9 petaled white flower appears on a short thin stem in early spring. Each flower gives way to an edible, fleshy, greenish fruit which turns golden ripe and may be used to make preserves and jellies. Hardy in zones 3-8, partial shade to full shade. Grows in average to medium well drained soil. Shipping is 6.95 and .25 for each additional. We DO NOT ship to AK, HI P.R.
We are a licensed nursery in the state of Tennessee cert.#2235 Planting instructions included with every order. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT OUR LISTINGS.
