MCM 1970 Whirlpool CVR 2000. This is the original Oreck vacuum cleaner. It is the oldest Oreck vacuum cleaner, sought after by collectors and is rare. This vacuum cleaner works without issue. There is expected wear and tear, and dust, bumps, nicks, and scratches. The zipper on the bag is a bit hard to zip, likely due to dust and time. The handle has apparently tanned over time. We have included additional pictures. The area of the handle where the wound cord was sitting is lighter than the rest of the handle. It's still appears that the original handle color was tan, but a lighter color of tan. We can't be sure. Someone posed the question as to whether the cord is original. We believe it is, and we've included additional pictures. The cord seems time appropriate, and this was our neighbor's vacuum. She was 97, liked to purchase and use the latest and greatest of everything, took care of her possessions and kept everything, but was more inclined to purchase something new rather than fix something old. I.e. we believe it is the original cord, looks like it's the original cord, and it would be out of character for it to be a replacement cord.
