Item description

Chocolate Habanero (Capsicum chinese) is an extremely hot pepper with a SHU or Scoville Heat Units of 300,000 to 450,000 Scoville Heat Units or SHU, which is more than 70 times hotter than a Jalapeno pepper! Will produce a velvety, brown, lantern shaped pepper 2.5" pepper. Originating from Jamaica, it's typically used to make Jamaican jerk sauce and rubs. Warm soil that is weakly alkaline to neutral is the key to growing hot peppers. Please note that extreme hot peppers will take up to 30 days to germinate. Keep moist, do not saturate until germination Hot peppers can be very difficult to germinate. I highly recommend that you use the damp paper towel method to germinate your hot pepper seeds: 1. Place pepper seeds on a paper towel 2. Use spray bottle to dampen seeds and paper towel (do not soak) 3. Fold paper towel and dampen outside of paper towel 4. Place in a zip-lock back and seal 5. Store in a room temperature environment. If you have a heating pad, ideal germination temp should be between 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit 6. Check every couple of days for germination. After germination takes place, transfer to pot with soil Germination can take up to 30 days for extremely hot peppers, much shorter time with method above, 100 days to maturity Collected: 6/24 Germination: 90% Buy Seeds Online ,Organic Seeds ,Heirloom Seeds ,Non-GMO Seeds ,Vegetable Seeds ,Flower Seeds ,Herb Seeds ,Fruit Seeds ,Garden Seeds ,Seed Starter Kits ,Rare Seeds ,Bulk Seeds ,Indoor Gardening Seeds ,Seed Catalog ,Seed Packs for Sale ,Sustainable Seeds ,Greenhouse Seeds ,Seed Suppliers ,Planting Seeds ,Home Garden Seeds
