Item description

This retro porcelain sugar bowl with lid has happy orange, yellow and green handpainted details on a pearl gray background. The lusterware glaze is beautiful. The tiniest black trim appears on the opening. Marks on the bottom state: Trico, handpainted and Nagoya, Japan. Research tells this Trico line was made by Tashiro Shoten, LTD. They were in business before WWII and closed in 1954. There is a tiny pencil tip sized flaw in the glaze that has been sealed by firing. No chips, cracks or repairs. Measures 2.75" base x 4.25" tall with lid x 5.5" handle to handle.
