SDP Telecom tappers, sample the signal similar to directional couplers but without directivity. In a distributed antenna system (DAS) the tapper diverts a portion of the signal from the main feeder cable. Tappers are an alternative coupler design, which are lower in cost than directional couplers, and offer a larger bandwidth. The TAP05ANB000 offers 5dB coupling with a PIM rating of -155dBc.
