There is no previous owner’s name, nor any unpleasant odor. The pages are clean and unmarked. The books is in good solid condition, the largest flaw being the aforementioned loose hinge. The covers, both front and back, are in good solid condition with the only exception being a small tear to upper spine. The Lords of High Decision: By Doubleday, Page Company, 1909. 503 pages. The hardcover book is in good solid condition. It has an onion skin cover over the title page. The front hinge is a bit loose. There is light soiling to the outside page edges. A previous owner’s name is written neatly in black ink on the first blank page of the book (the blank endpaper opposite the inside of the front board). The book does not have any unpleasant odor. The pages are clean and unmarked. The outer spine shows some discoloration/fading. Otherwise, the front and back covers are in good solid condition. Both books naturally show general aging. There have been cared for pretty well and are in generally good solid clean condition. The front hinges are loose and the covers show general aging.
