Antique Cabinet Card Photograph. Identified as Laura McLaughlin. Location not stated. Measures approximately 8 x 11.75 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. This was originally a folder-style cabinet photo, but the cover flap has separated and is missing. The mount has a fair amount of age spotting, and there is a long, vertical scratch along the left side of the image. Comments: Antique Folder-Style Cabinet Card Photograph. Identified from a combination of three separate studio portraits (all sold separately and taken in Portland, Maine; and Clinton, Massachusetts) as Sylvia Pauline Crosby (married name: Crosby.) She was the daughter of Guy Edward Crosby and Cordia Aurelia McLaughlin Glidden. She was the wife of James Milner Gamble and the mother of Cena Gamble Thurlow and Eugene Crosby Gamble. She died July 12, 1971 in Bangor, Maine. Measures approximately 4.25 x 6.25 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. It is in excellent condition. McLaughlin (taken in a Houlton, Maine studio); Gertrude E. McLaughlin (taken in a Houlton, Maine studio), D. Webster "Webbie" McLaughlin; Charles Cobb; Charles Cobb (alone in studio portrait); Sylvia Pauline (Crosby) Gamble, born in 1901 in Dyer Brook, Maine, the daughter of Guy Edward Crosby and Cordia Aurelia McLaughlin Glidden; and Blanche Freel McLaughlin who was identified as the wife of Kempton S. McLaughlin (1876-1967) and Ella McLaughlin (born 1879). Blanche was born about 1895 in Maine. The family was residing in Dyer Brook, Maine in the 1940 U.S. Census.
