Item description

Set in Prince Edwad Island, after the success of Anne of Green Gables for L,M. Montgomery, this is a love story between a teacher and young mute woman. The first edition was published in 1910 but this one could be around the 1930s based on the books by the author available for purchase on the inside of the cover. Christmas present inscription "to Betty" 1944. There are child-like red crayon scribblings on a few pages but the binding and spine are intact. Ships from Canada. Shipping to the USA and Canada are free. International shipping is based on Canada Post parcel price plus $5.00 handling.
