John Sutton (October 22, 1908 - July 10, 1963) autographed vintage 1940's single weight Frank Powolny 20th Century Fox 7 3/4'' x 9 1/2'' photo hand signed and inscribed To Mary Jessma Wilson with my sincerest best wishes for your continued success and happiness John Sutton. The photo is in very good condition with a trimmed left side border. John Sutton was an actor with a prolific career in Hollywood of more than 30 years. He was born in Rawalpindi, India. Before moving to Hollywood as a actor, he was a tea planter in the Indian sub-continent. Known for the Invisible Man Returns (1940), Charlie McCarthy, Detective (1939), Tower of London (1939), I Can't Give You Anything Buy Love, Baby (1940), South to Karanga (1940), Murder Over New York (1940), Hudson's Bay (1941), A Very Young Lady (1941), My Gal Sal (1942), The Three Musketeers (1948), and many others. Mary Jessma Wilson was a radio personality for Hollywood Stars and did many interviews. Some of her collection is in the Smithsonian Vintage Hollywood
