Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the classic 1980's fantasy adventure drama/romance, EXCALIBUR, released in 1981 by Orion Pictures and directed by John Boorman. Based upon the book by Thomas Mallory, Merlin the magician (Nicol Williamson) helps Arthur Pendragon (Nogel Terry) unite the Britons around the Round Table of Camelot, even as dark forces conspire to tear it apart. The cast includes Helen Mirren, Nicholas Clay, Cherie Lunghi, Paul Geoffrey, Robert Addie, and Gabriel Byrne. As indicated in the bottom border near the left corner, this is lobby card #1 from the set of 8 cards and the image depicts a battle scene as a man has a spear pushed completely through him. It is unrestored in fine+ condition with one pinhole in each corner in the background area; a few small scratches which are unobtrusive; and light signs of wear on the corners. There are no tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
