(3) Three Antique Cabinet Card Photographs. The cabinet photo displayed at the bottom is of Jennie R. Rideout, wife of Robert H. Reed, and her mother Ella Rideout. Mother and daughter were said to be from Benton, Maine. Additional genealogoical information is included below. The family group photo, taken in a studio in Richmond, Maine, and the home exterior photo with a mother and child standing outside, came from the estate of Robert and Jennie, but we are unable to make a precise identification. The mother and daughter photo measures 5.25 x 7.25 including mount; the family photo is 8.5 x 5.25; and the family home image measures 8.75 x 6.75. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. The photo of Jennie and her mother is in excellent condition. The other images have some stains and/or soiling, and edge wear as shown. Comments: Robert H. Reed (1858-1938) was married to Jennie R. Rideout of Benton, Maine. Robert was the son of Rollin Reed (born 1822) and Keziah Hanson (daughter of Bechelder H. Hanson). Robert had two siblings, including Clara A. Reed (wife of Scott W. Burnham, and mother of Scott Edwin Burnham who was born in 1881 in Whitefield, Maine), and Hebert E. Reed. Robert and his wife Jennie had a son Buford Albert Reed (1888-1944) who was married to Ethel E. Taylor (born 1891). Buford and Ethel had a son Robert Wilbur Reed (1911-1996), and that family reportedly lived in Weeks Mills, Maine.
