Keep on mode: When you lock the float switch to the pump, the pump will keep working. Once the pump cannot pump out any water, the power supply should be cut off immediately to prevent the coil from being burned. Automatic on/off mode: The float switch should be unlocked from the pump. When the water level rises above the pump, the pump automatically starts to work under the control of the float switch.
