In the mid 90's, Infinity offered 2 versions of "Minuette" speaker systems. These were made for people who have limited space and wanted great performing, small speakers they could match up with a powered subwoofer. The MPFreq response (satellitS satellites could be wall mounted, by either using the 2 integrated key-hole brackets or, using brackets that would have the proper size bolts that would screw into the bracket bolt-holes on backs. They, and the Center Channel speaker could also be placed on stands. Pictured is the "Minuette Theater Pac" system that includes 4 of the MPS (multi-purpose satellite) satellite speakers plus a Minuette Center Channel speaker. All speakers use the same type mid-woofers and tweeters so everything is "voice matched". Highly advisable to add/buy a powered subwoofer to complete a true 5.1 home theater system. Specs: Freq response (satellites): 200Hz - 20kHz Freq response (center): 150Hz - 20kHz Crossover frequency: 5000 Hz Power rating: 15 - 80 watts RMS Impedance: 8 ohms Drivers (satellites): 1x, 3.5" shielded woofer and 1x, 1/2" tweeter Drivers (center): 2x, 3.5" shielded woofers and 1x, 1/2" tweeter Dimensions (satellites): 7"H x 4.75"W x 3.75"D Dimensions (center): 4.75"H x 10.5"W x 3.75"D Note: Although Infinity quotes the power rating as 15-80 watts RMS... not so sure I'd try driving them to their limit. Based on my audio experience and listening to these, I'd think their upper end rating, without distortion, should be more around 40-50 watts RMS. When matched with a powered sub, they will play at good, medium loud levels. All tested and work great, and in excellent cosmetic shape. They do have a few minor nics and scratches, but nothing horrible or distracting. From a pet-free, smoke-free home.
