Item description
The flower depicted is similar to one from the Hoya Rosita. Contact us for current bloom status. Hoya Rosita is a rare, hybrid flowering plant that's part of the Hoya family. It's a cross between Hoya Wayetii and Hoya Tsangii.
Care
? Light: Place in medium to bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light, but it will likely produce more flowers in brighter light.
? Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Overwatering can damage the plant.
? Temperature: Keep at 60?85F (15?29C).
? Humidity: Maintain a humidity level of at least 40%. You can use a humidifier, mist your plant, or keep it on a pebble tray to increase humidity.
? Fertilizer: Feed your plant once per month at half strength when it's actively growing.
Flowers
? In spring and summer, your Hoya Rosita may produce red, sweet-smelling flowers.
? If your plant doesn't flower in its first few years, don't worry?it's normal to wait a few years before Hoyas start to flower.
? Hoya Rosita is a climbing vine that will need some form of support or grow them in hanging baskets. [8]
? It has oblong leaves that end in a point. The succulent foliage has dark margins and can take on shades of red coloration in higher light levels.
