Item description

Brand new factory sealed double feature of two Asian films, the first is in Japanese only with English subtitles. The second film is Thai or English language and both have English or Spanish subtitles available. There is a tiny, barely visible endentation on the back that has cracked the ad-art paper underneath. PULSE is maddeningly vague about what is actually happening: various characters offer possible explanations, but none of these theories are especially coherent or convincing. At first, the supposedly overpopulated underworld merely bleeds into one small corner of this world. An intrepid man tries to seal the ghosts in a room, closing up every possible crack with some red duct tape, but he's missed one critical exit: the haunted room's got a phone jack, and the spirits use it to flood into cyberspace. The dead are insufferably lonely--but since so many of the living are too, the dead have the advantage. SICK NURSES: In a neglected hospital, seven young nurses and a respected doctor have been selling body parts of dead patients on the black market. When one of the nurses falls in love with the doctor, she urges them all to get out of the scam. Threatening to go to the police, she is viciously murdered and dies uttering a vengeful curse. Seven days later her tormented soul, longing to find its love, returns. Preying on each of the women's obsessions and weaknesses, she exacts her horrifying revenge.
