When I test printers, I plug them in and let them go through the self test. That is the extent of the test. I generally sell printers, faxes, and scanners as untested because I don't have the software or ink to properly test the items. I sell them as non working but they almost always perform fine with the correct equipment. I will note any noticeable flaws. I purchased this item from a local government facility. Item: HP CP1700 Printer. This item powers on and goes through the self test. Please see that this appears to be missing the paper tray on the bottom.
