Gunsmoke’s Miss Kitty, appeared in numerous radio shows: The Adventures
of Philip Marlowe, Broadway’s My Beat, Escape, Night Beat, Rogers of the
Gazette, Romance, Suspense, This is Your FBI, The Whistler and Yours
Truly, Johnny Dollar, but did not develop a major film or television
acting career. Miss Kitty was played by Georgia Russell, William Conrad
was Marshal Dillion and Parley Baer was Chester. Other supporting cast
members included people like John Dehner, Vic Perrin, Barney Phillips,
James Nusser, Virginia Gregg, Jeanette Nolan, among others. Volume 9
includes 16 more episodes, digitally remastered and restored and they
sound great!
