Guardian Angels are mentioned many times in the Bible. For example, in Mathew 18:10, Jesus says, speaking of some children, ?See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.? Guardian Angles protect us! It?s nice for children to know they are being guarded by strong angels all the time, even while they?re sleeping. If you want a suggestion of what to tell your children, we would say that the angel mainly guides you away from danger so you don't see it in the first place. It?s nice to remind adults of that, too! One of the things we like about this picture, besides the gentleness and coziness of it, is that there are two angels in the picture, one for each child! In the traditional picture which you've seen elsewhere, the one with two children stepping over a river gorge on a rickety old foot bridge, there is only one angel. For so much danger! It's good for people to know that we each have one. We think this picture is lovely and comforting. Hang it in a bedroom, of course, or in a hallway by a bedroom door, or any place you want to think of your angel. It took us a long time to restore this image. As of this writing, no one has copied us yet. We also have a slightly fancier one if you search our shop for "guardian".
