Tomatillos thrive in heat and high temps, growing just as easily as pepers and tomatoes. Close relative to the Cape Gooseberry and ground cherries, this tomatillo is a staple in Mexican cuisine. Excellent for salsas, sauces, and stews. Tomatillos will grow to be 2"-3" across enclosed in a papery husk and are self-sterile, so plant plenty.
