This is a Golden Compass "Golden Monkey" Candy Dispenser by PEZ. This wonderful item is Mrs. Coulter's daemon, the Golden Monkey from the Golden Compass. 2007. Marisa Coulter (1962–1997), née van Zee was the head of the General Oblation Board and a long time agent of the Church before she defected. Her dæmon was a golden monkey who neither spoke nor went by a specific name. Her daughter was Lyra Silvertongue. Marisa was born in 1962. When she reached puberty, her dæmon settled as a golden monkey. She attended St Sophia's College and wrote an academic work named The Bronze Clocks of Benin.When she was 18, she travelled to Will's world. She sat for aportrait at Skipton's art studio, where she met Grinstead. The two were lovers for less than a month. At this time, she was already involved in politics. Includes 2 rolls of PEZ candy. Please do not eat the candy since it is many years old. Just the right find for PEZ Collectors. Made in China between 1991 and present. With feet. Measurements are: 4 1/4 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches deep. This collectible item is sealed in new condition. New on card. (Card has minor wear.) Please see photos.
