Item description
God's Transmitters by Hannah Hurnard (1985, Mass Market Paperback, Reprint)
Classified as a devotional, the book is meant for prayer groups and individuals who wish develop more power and results from their prayers.
As God's children we are called to be transmitters of his love through prayer. By practicing the principles of faith and love, prayer becomes a joyful privilege in serving God.
Hannah Hurnard (1905–90) was a 20th-century Christian author, best known for her allegorical novel, Hinds' Feet on High Places. She graduated from Ridgelands Bible College in 1926. In 1932 she became an independent missionary, moving to Haifa, Palestine. Her work in Palestine and later Israel lasted 50 years.
Hurnard was born in Colchester, England, to Quaker parents. Eagles' Wings to the Higher Places has been said to support beliefs in pantheism, universalism, and gnosticism. Unveiled Glory tells of how she came to believe in Universal reconciliation.
