Item description

Vintage Hazel Atlas Gay Fad Studio? hand painted large glass pitcher and 5 tumblers circa 1950?s. This pre owned set is in excellent condition. There is no wear to paint and colors are quite vibrant. All pieces are intact with no chips, scratches, cracks or repairs. Please see photos for details on condition of these pieces. The Pitcher measures 10 1/4"Hx6"W at it's widest. and holds 64 fluid ounces. The Tumblers measure 5 1/4"Hx2 1/4"W at the rim and hold 12 fluid ounces. Gay Fad Studios opened in Lancaster, OH in 1945. Gay Fad's founder was Fran Taylor, who worked at home for seven years hand decorating home goods and glassware items before opening the studio. Taylor and her staff designed a variety of patterns onto "blank" glassware purchased from Anchor Hocking, Hazel Atlas and Federal Glass, among others. While quite prolific during the mid-century, Gay Fad Studios closed in 1962. *The items that I sell are all pre owned and may have condition issues due to age, handling, etc. I am not an expert. I try my utmost to give an accurate representation of the item. Occasionally, I may miss something (age, condition, materials). I strive for 100% customer satisfaction. Please contact me with any questions or requests for additional photos prior to purchase. IF YOU ARE NOT 100% SATISFIED UPON DELIVERY, THE ITEM CAN BE RETURNED, WITHIN 30 DAYS. **All items are sourced from antique shops, thrift shops, estate and tag sales, auctions, and friends and family. When the provenance of an item is known, it will always be mentioned. Each piece is thoroughly inspected and rated from excellent pre owned condition (no wear visible) to good pre owned condition (some obvious wear). Each piece is cleaned/dusted as appropriate (always leaving any natural patina on surface).
