He Il Faut Marcher Les Petits Mad'maselles Vivre La Solitude Ca N'existe Pas About The Record: Portrait of, by Gilbert Becaud, while not a widely documented standalone release in his discography, appears to be a compilation or a representation of his work, likely drawing from his extensive catalog of energetic and emotive French chanson and pop music. Gilbert Becaud, known as "Monsieur 100,000 Volts" for his dynamic performances, was a prominent French singer, composer, and pianist whose career spanned nearly five decades, influencing the French music scene significantly during the 1950s and 1960s. This album would likely feature a selection of his notable works, showcasing his ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with powerful melodies, a hallmark of his style that captivated audiences at venues like the Paris Olympia, where he debuted in 1954 and performed over 30 times. The hit single from his repertoire included Nathalie (1964), inspired by a Moscow guide.
