Item description

For your consideration is this very rare antique mirror estimated from 1750s. Not easy to find a piece that old and still in great shape. The mirror is 25 X 17.5 inches. It comes with a stand that allows it stand on a table or you can hang it on the wall using the round loop on top. The black lacquer is 99% there and the raised gilt work is 95% there. The raised gilt depicting a Japanese landscape with houses, trees, and rocks. I have enlarged pictures to show the nails and screw heads that is obviously hand made and I believe prior to 1800s. The beveled mirror has sparse black dots and is in very good condition. Shipping will be handled by FedEx using their artwork box. The box costs $20 and is included in the handling charge. Shipping methods: I found FedEx frame/artwork box is the best deal for shipping. The box costs $20 and is included in the shipping charge. If you have a FedEx or UPS account and would prefer I use your own account, I am happy to drop off at any FedEx or UPS location at no extra charge once you give me your account number. Just check out as "local pick up" Shipping Charge: Shipping included delivery confirmation and maybe insurance if final price over $50. Item over $250 includes signature confirmation. Combined Shipping: Additional item is no extra charge or actual increment of shipping cost if heavy items are combined. Shipping time: I usually ship on Saturdays. So for some, I ship very quick if paid on Friday, and for those who made payments on a Saturday afternoon after P.O.s close, the shipping handling time could be a week -- that's why I don't list anything on Fridays, so that you have at least 24 hours to pay and I have 24 hours to pack. If you need your treasure shipped right away during the week, I can make arrangements -- please email for options. Returns: There are enough pictures plus text description to present the item (in my opinion) and to observe genuine auction spirit, no returns accepted unless misrepresented. Please do not hesitate to email with questions if you feel more information is necessary.
