Press of the Case, Lockwood Brainard Co., 1884. 14.5x10.5 (small octavo), pp. [1-9] 10-203 [204: blank], flyleaves, original green cloth, front panel stamped in gold and blind, cream endpapers. First edition. A detailed account of a transcontinental Raymond tour (with a list of the excursionists) that left Boston for the Pacific coast on 24 April 1884. The participants traveled by rail to Colorado, then to California by the southern route, then from Los Angeles to San Francisco, and then returned to Boston though the Sierra Nevada. Includes a chapter, "Delightful Days at Los Angeles." Cowan (1933), p. 603. Norris catalogue 3689.
