Light blue textured paper over boards with a paper label on the front board, backed in brick-red cloth as issued. Fine condition with only minimal corner wear and edge wear, which is remarkable for a large children's book from 1925. The interior is very nice, with sound hinges and no marks on the pages. The large, fragile, white dust jacket is present on this copy. Some moderate soil, with some closed tears and a small chip missing from the lower left edge of the front panel. There is a one-inch closed tear at the top edge of the jacket spine and one similar one at the bottom of the jacket spine. There is a little edge wear to the jacket, but nothing objectionable. I will cover this jacket in Mylar upon the sale. This book is noted as a 1925 Sixth printing. Remarkable that a book like this should be in such nice shape. Thank you for looking.
