Item description

Retro pop-n-go video has been pre-viewed for quality and played pretty good till the end credits where it had some snow and dirt lines. These might go away upon further viewings as it could be dust spots. Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being produced. The box cover is slightly faded with a couple of former sticker shadows and a liner lift nick at the center top. The 'R' rated sticker was placed over the cbs/fox brand logo. Cassette has security labels over both endcaps assuring you of first generation quality. Full frame picture is perfect for old tube TVs as the image will fill your square frame. On a Middle Eastern beach, two friendly secret agents, Peter Sandza (Douglas) and Childress (Cassevettes), clown around with Peter's teenage son, Robin (Andrew Stevens). A sudden machine gun attack by Arabs sends Peter scurrying into the water, only to see Childress spiriting Robin away with the aid of the attackers obviously recruited to stage a diversion. One year later in Chicago, Gillian (Amy Irving) discovers her immense psychic powers while undergoing a paranormal seminar at school. Queasy at her ability to make others bleed during moments of intense stress, Gillian agrees to be a study case at an institute under the care of Hester (Carrie Snodgress), who also has a relationship with Peter, now skulking the Chicago streets searching for clues as to the whereabouts of his kidnapped son. Peter hopes to use Gillian's powers to track down Robin, who is now being manipulated by Childress with the sexual dominance of the alluring Susan. A series of pursuits and nasty incidents ensue, the most memorable with Arabs on a revolving carnival ride that goes so fast they're thrown up in the air and crash through a wall to their deaths. And then of course there's the splatter packed ending, which is best left for new viewers to discover for themselves...
