The dollars appear to float. The Ike dollar is the LAST of America's big bold coins minted. Each coin measures 38.5mm in diameter and weighs 22.7 grams. It is a clad coin. The outer layer is 75% copper and 25% Nickel. The Inner core is 100% copper. The front (obverse) of the coin designed by Engraver, Frank Gasparro. The reverse design was modeled after the Apollo 11 Moon mission insignia from 1969. The regular circulation Ike was minted in Denver and Philadelphia only from 1971-1978. None bearing the 1975 year were minted. The Bicentennial years coin was used instead. The Ikes were popular in the Casinos. The coins are all bright and shiny and no toning.They are grade Fine or better with only bag wear and not circulation wear. Probably uncirculated???. There is $70 in numismatic value. The lucite block is clear and has no crazing. There is only very minimal and imperceptible surface wear. All corners sharp. 4 rubber feet on bottom. The Obelisk bottom is 3"x3", the top 2"x2". Item #2 Is a 1971D Ike Embedded in a Small Paperweight. It is a 1971D TYPE 2, angry eagle and has some die drop out on ?IN GOD WE TRUST'' and on the date. It is In extremely fine condition????. The lucite is clear and has a black base. STUNNING. Size is 3.5" x 2.5" x .75". Block has few mild surface wear, barely perceptible. NO crazing.It is in first year of minting. Well centered, no inclusions. Item #3. 1972P in LUCITE Block Measures 1 3/4"x 2" x 2". Excellent strong strike and high grade coin. The Lucite block is excellent. Sharp corners and edges.
