'The Best of the Better Little Books' as published by Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. The illustrations for this edition of 'John Carter of Mars' are by John Coleman Burroughs. The book is in used condition with some issues. I’m in no way an expert on how to describe books, so I will have to provide as many pictures as possible. The covers are with rubbing and toning, but securely attached. The spine is complete with chipping, corner bumps and tears and chips. All pages appear present and with no bent or dog-earred pages. There appears to be no marks or writing inside or out. The pages are lightly tanned, more so at the edges. There appears to be no tape or glue on the book..
