Up for sale Early Summer Red Apple tree grafted on M111 root stock, 5x5x12 inches pot size 1 year old, shipped Bare root or potted. Trees are 1-2 feet tall. Generally ships from January through April. USDA ZONES: Zone 4-9. The Summer Red Apple was bred in Summerland, British Columbia, Canada; 1964 introduction. The soft white flesh is sweet and juicy, with a hint of strawberry flavor. This apple ripens in August and is a great choice for Pacific Northwest growers. The Summer Red Apple Tree is a versatile early ripening apple that is great for fresh eating, cooking, and as a winter keeper. Shipping schedule: Fruit Trees/Specialty Fruits – Early January through mid-May . Northern Cold States – Mid- April through mid-May. If you live in the colder northern states we do not begin shipping there until March- April. Trees: Due to strict Agricultural Laws in place, we currently cannot ship to the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii. We cannot ship to Puerto Rico or international. Cold Weather Shipping: Shipping Delays Due to daytime temperatures dropping below 34 degrees we are currently unable to ship live plants to the following states: Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin, Wyoming. If you are located in one of these states, you are still able to place your order and we will ship it as soon as the weather allows. If the temperatures either in your area or in transit to you are too cold for us to safely ship out your order, we will reschedule it to ship as soon as we feel it's safe to do so. What we look for is a period of 4 consecutive days above freezing in your area as well as ours in order to avoid the plants freezing in transit.
