Plains Coreopsis grow 3'-4' tall and fall over under their own weight. The dwarf version does not do this. They stand upright about 12"-16" tall and bloom mid-summer until first frost. If a few flowers are left alone to live out their life cycle they will reseed readily. Coreopsis wildflowers are very easy to grow from seeds.
