I purchased this bag about two years ago and never used it. I have the same bag in a baby pink without the Sherpa. The measurements for the bag are 13 inches wide, 10 1/2 inches high and 4 inches deep. The strap drop is 38 inches long which equates to 19 inches. There is a center part of the strap that can be removed. That part is 19 inches. If it is removed, the strap left would be 19 inches long which would equate to a 9 1/2 inch drop or a regular shoulder bag. There are pockets on the front of the bag which you can see when the flap is put in the up position. The flap closes with very strong magnets. There is also a flap on the back that allows you to carry extra items. The inside Of the bag is really beautiful. I love the plaid. The back wall of the inside has a back zipper pocket and it also has a pocket in front of it. The front wall of the inside of the bag has two flap pockets for things like your cell phone or a compact. They are a nice generous size. There is also a key keeper on the inside and I believe you can see it in my photos.
