OUTDOOR PAINTING James Fletcher-Watson R.I., R.B.A., one of the leading watercolour landscape painters in the UK, started painting at a very young age, exhibiting first at the age of twenty. Finally, to the Yorkshire Dales where James paints Castle Bolton, a strong architectural subject, and the bridge at Hubberholme with its clear stream and autumn coloured trees.
