A cunningly contrived psychological thriller about multiple personality, with a mystery villain convincing disturbed Barrymore that she is haunted by a double who murders people she finds inconveniet, this transforms into supernatural horror with the last-reel effects in which the schizoid girl fissures in two, emerging from a wormy cocoon as a demonic creature who destroys her tormentor.
