This is a bump 'n go battery operated tin toy CSENGOS MOZDONY BELL RINGER TIN LOCOMOTIVE made by E. Flim Lemez Toy Company in Hungary around 1988. It was purchased by a meticulous collector in 1998 and has been in storage unused since, only taken out of box to test for this sale. Measures about 10.5? long and is made of lithographed tin except for the driver's plastic hat. Toy requires 3 C batteries (not included) which fit into a drawer in the back of the locomotive. The battery compartment is clean. The train moves along with bump 'n go action while the smoke stack and front top of the toy chugs side to side with the engine sound, then the toy stops and the driver moves his arm and rings the bell a couple of times. This 2 cycle action then repeats - all in perfectly functioning order. Cosmetically the toy is in very good condition too. I don't see any scratches in the paint, but there are some abrasion areas on the silver metal pieces that push the back wheel. Also included is the ?Description for toy RINGING LOCOMOTIVE? sheet that came with the toy originally. Comes in the original sturdy box which is in pretty good condition, aside from a 1? tear in the top, as shown in last photo. Please refer to photos as photos are of actual item you will receive.
