Item description

Up for sale is this beautiful lamp made from Antique Figurine, possibly from one of the prominent makers from Germany or France. The figuring itself is about 11.5 inches tall and with the candle stick it is about 13.5 inches. It stands 15 inches from base to top of candle holder. Exceptional details and hand painting denotes the top maker that no one can match. The porcelain body is somewhat more translucent and less whiter than commonly seen 19th century porcelain. There also seem impurities in the porcelain body. I believe this is one of the very hard to come across earlier pieces. I have seen a few pieces early Paris porcelain that is similar color and texture, but I haven't seen A Germany piece that early to be sure. The myth can be resolved if someone would remove the metal base. I have enjoyed it been a lamp for many years and rather keep the myth. I personally don't care who the maker is and the paramount of beauty of this figure haven been pleased me for years. The lamp was constructed in the 1920s when electricity became popular in US. There is metal lining inside the candle holder and obviously it had been used as a candle holder before and the lady and lamp has been bringing light to this world for centuries. I had it rewired, but I haven't taken pictures after the rewiring. The lamb legs were chipped off and there are few tiny flea bites on the leaves on the candle stick. It has no chips or cracks on the lady herself. It has been well cared for. No shade included in the sale (probably cheaper if you buy your own shade given the shipping cost), but this is a function lamp. If you have a question though, please email. Please read important information: Shipping methods: I offer multiple shipping methods. Please do scroll to the shipment page to find out the most optimized shipping method to your area. If you choose the default USPS parcel post, I assume you will be OK for me to upgrade to USPS priority mail or UPS ground at no extra charge. Shipping Charge: Shipping included delivery confirmation and maybe insurance if final price over $50. Item over $250 includes signature confirmation. Combined Shipping: Additional item is no extra charge or actual increment of shipping cost if heavy items are combined. Shipping time: I usually ship on Saturdays. So for some, I ship very quick if paid on Friday, and for those who made payments on a Saturday afternoon after P.O.s close, the shipping handling time could be a week -- that's why I don't list anything on Fridays, so that you have at least 24 hours to pay and I have 24 hours to pack. If you need your treasure shipped right away during the week, I can make arrangements -- please email for options. Returns: There are enough pictures plus text description to present the item (in my opinion) and to observe genuine auction spirit, no returns accepted unless misrepresented. Please do not hesitate to email with questions if you feel more information is necessary. Check My Daily 0.99 Cents Deals!
