Item description

This small spice shaker is labeled CLOVE. A proud rooster, a famous "Chanticleer" in literature, struts his stuff. A bit of green creates an accent and a raised "pull" on the front. The top has 5 holes. The bottom of shaker is stamped Japan. Sorry no stopper remains for the hole on the bottom. Research shows pieces in spice jar sets like this were popular in the 1940's. Small flea bite is present along top back edge. Measures 3" tall X 1.5" deep X 2" wide.
