CLARION - 1971 -- CLARION II - 1972 -- CARION III - 1973 Edited by Robin Scott Wilson Signet Books, First Printings -- Condition: Very Good Minus The first three Clarion anthologies contain speculative fiction by new writers (including Geo. Alec Effinger, Ed Bryant, Octavia Butler and John Shirley) and criticism by seasoned pros (such as Harlan Ellison, Damon Knight, Ursula K. Le Guin and Theodore Sturgeon). #1 has edge spine edge wear (including tiny tear at top), spine reading crease and tiny corner creases. Interior nice with light toning. #2 has some edge/spine edge wear, reading creases, slight corner wear and moisture darkening on edge of back cover back pages, which are otherwise nice and unmarked with quite white pages -- this book is really in a bit better shape than #1. Essentially, #3 is in the best condition, easily Very Good+, except for more moisture darkening, which obscures some small writing at the bottom of the back cover and is noticeable at both top bottom of pages. All three books have secure bindings throughout.
