Completely gorgeous antique Satsuma vase in the style of Moriage or raised decorations. Hand painted, exquisitely performed. The same scene repeated on two sides with much detail; there are some ladies on a pleasure boat and several more on the shore, pagoda, bay with background mountains, and other scenery. There is no real damage; there are just a few very tiny imperfections in the artwork which may be inherent in the manufacture or very minor wear. The photos are to the best of our ability; they came out reasonably well but what I will tell you is that when you see the piece in person you definitely will not be disappointed. I don't know what improvement could be made on this piece in terms of artwork, of skill, of design and detail.
