Item description

Completely gorgeous antique Satsuma vase in the style of Moriage or raised decorations. Hand painted, exquisitely performed. The same scene repeated on two sides with much detail; there are some ladies on a pleasure boat and several more on the shore, pagoda, bay with background mountains, and other scenery. There is no real damage; there are just a few very tiny imperfections in the artwork which may be inherent in the manufacture or very minor wear. The photos are to the best of our ability; they came out reasonably well but what I will tell you is that when you see the piece in person you definitely will not be disappointed. I don't know what improvement could be made on this piece in terms of artwork, of skill, of design and detail. What would anyone want, twice as many figures half the size and you looked at it with a magnifying glass? It is totally stunning and of the highest quality and there is not a home in this world that should not find a place for it. This is a really fantastic piece and you ought to not mess around; it is worth investing in. See shipping calculator for rates to your address.
