This handsome, hand-carved elephant figure is made of solid wood with a lovely stylized physique and unusual profile. The elongated looped trunk is quite unique and the tusks are formed from the same piece of wood which eliminates the chance they will fall out. This piece is in very good to excellent vintage condition. The wood has no cracks or repairs. I can not determine the species, but it is of medium density-please see weight below. Only minor wear to the surface of the wood, including a few very small 'dings' and light scratches. Please see all photos for more information on condition.
