Cabinet Photo Young Boy in Very Ruffled White Shirt from 1880s thru early 1900s This boy is sitting on a small table wearing what appears to be knickers with black stockings with over the ankle tie up black shoes. It's the shirt that is very unique which you almost never see, but back then sometimes boy babies would be dressed in very fancy ruffled shirts and the like that almost appear to be that of a girls attire. His white shirt has very long ruffles around the neck and down the front and over the shoulders. A very unique item to add to your collection of old cabinet photos. The studio is J.W. Rogers which is embossed on the bottom of the card in white from Bay City, Michigan There is no markings or writings on the back as shown. There is a blind embossed rectangle around the photo. Rounded corners on the black card with wear showing on the corners.
