Abducted and turned into augmented humans against there will, these cyborgs are revolting against the person who made them, the evil Black Ghost. It starts out as a group of nine people (cyborgs 001-009), a genius baby from Russia, an impoverised cook from China, a freedom fighter from Africa, etc. against an army. They have to somehow find the Black Ghost and bring him to justice. After a while it turns into a 'monster of the week' as a new adversary shows up every week that must be defeated.
