The car is brand new in the package and has never been opened. The package has a copyright date of 2007 on it, but the car's 'birthdate' is 2000. The car is made of die cast metal and plastic. I am unsure of the scale of the car, but it is 2.5" bumper to bumper, 1.25" wide, and .5" tall. It is a very cute little mini diecast car, and brand new. Recommended for children ages 3 and up.
