Item description

DOCTOR BRODIE'S REPORT by Jorge Luis Borges E.P. Dutton Co., 1972 Condition: VG+ to Near Fine in VG dj Jorge Luis Borges became blind in the '50s, but the impulse to tell stories remained strong. This book contains 11 masterful short stories, most published here for the first time in book form. They were translated by Norman Thomas di Giovanni in collaboration with the author. Minor cover wear, small stains to a few pages and a pictorial label on the ffep. The jacket has a few short edge tears and the front flap is price clipped at the bottom. Best deal on the Internet for the first American hardback edition.
