Kala namak, or black salt, is a variety of rock salt frequently utilized in Indian cooking. I use this in my tofu scramble to help it have the egg-ish flavor. Black Salt has a egg like sulfur smell and taste to it and so it help with many vegan dishes give it a more non vegan feel to it.
