Antique Biedermeier collector's medallion from the 18th century Biedermeier Era--thus the name. Acid tested for 14k / 585 gold. There is a gold flower in the center of the onyx piece that has a tiny seed pearl in the center of the flower. The two loops for a chain on the back of the pendant were obviously added by someone. I have not polished and will not. I have gently cleaned with warm water and a soft brush.
