This sweet Forget-Me-Not floral arrangement is made with handcrafted tiny, glass seed beads, and sits inside a small porcelain Botanic Garden creamer made by Portmeirion Pottery, England. The floral bouquet, with flowers of white and blue on green stems, is strung on wire, and can be bent and adjusted easily. The creamer, Myosotis Palustris, likewise, is decorated with Forget-Me-Nots and a colorful butterfly. This piece is in excellent condition. There are no broken wires, loose beads or chips/cracks/repairs to the porcelain-no flaws. The weighted ball that holds the flowers is affixed tighty into the creamer. It appears to have had sphagnum moss laid in at the base of the bouquet, but most has fallen off. Please see all photos for more detail on condition. This backstamp is the green oval ID mark. For Portmeirion, this mark is often used for items not in the product catalog, sales samples, or special decoration. Sometimes a flaw is seen that would cause the item to be a second in terms of quality. But, very often the item is just a specially made, unique piece that is not in the normal production catalog. Since there are no flaws, I believe that the petite size of the creamer is what is unusual/special.
