Description Mikania ternata is commonly called, “Plushvine”, this vining plant is compact when young and will trail as it matures to make a nice hanging basket or trail over the edge of the planter. The compound leaves are a very dark green almost black on top and red on the undersides and covered with tiny hairs that give a velvet-like texture. It likes bright light and keep it slightly moist.
